The band
Flywheel are a psychedelic five-piece from Cork. Their first album “She” was released in 1996, with Ann Marie Ryan’s ethereal deadpan-cool vocals swirling over Mark Tangney and Kieran Curtin’s layered guitars on songs grounded in Paul Kelleher’s driving bass. 2023 saw the band re-form, with Sam Jeffers (Fridge) on drums. A new six track release “You’ve Seen A Lot” followed, refreshing and building on their earlier sound.
